CNG station under government radar

: Amid allegations of CNG stickers being sold for Rs. 1,000, the Delhi government has started close monitoring of the distribution of these stickers at a CNG station near CGO complex on Lodhi Road.

CM offers water to Latur, asks Delhi to conserve

New Delhi: Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday offered to send water to the drought-hit Latur in Maharashtra. He is expected to write to the prime minister shortly seeking his help in transporting the water.

Undertrial escapes from police custody

An undertrial lodged in the Tihar Jail escaped from custody while being taken to a court in Haryana on Monday. Deepak Dabas, an accused in several cases of murder and robbery in Delhi and Haryana, was arrested on March 1.

Dabas was being ferried in a mini-truck when he managed to slip the handcuff off his wrist. He jumped out of the moving vehicle in a crowded market.
